Granting of authorisation for a qualifying holding in KD BPD, a stockbroking company, d.o.o.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange d.d. and the ZTVP-1 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 56/99), KD d.d., Ljubljana, hereby issues the following announcement:

KD Group, finančna družba, d.d., announces that on 8 January 2004 it received a decision from the Securities Market Agency granting authorisation for the direct and indirect acquisition of a 100 per cent qualifying holding in the stockbroking firm KD BPD, a stockbroking firm, d.o.o., Celovška 206, Ljubljana, pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 82 of the Securities Market Act (ZTVP-1).
