Executive Director
Katarina Valentinčič Istenič holds a Master’s degree in Economics. She began her career in tax consultancy and as head of the accounting and management accounting department. Throughout her professional career, she has held senior positions, primarily in the fields of finance, management accounting and bookkeeping.
Before joining the board of directors of KD Group d.d., she was a member of the management board at Onisac d.o.o., where she was responsible for implementing financial and organisational restructuring and optimising business processes. Prior to that, from 2007 onwards, she was employed as Director of Finance and Accounting within a group of companies, where she gained significant experience in the areas of company and asset valuation, due diligence and the organisation of business processes for companies in Slovenia and the wider region.
Since 2014, she has been a member of the board of directors of KD Group d.d. and KD d.d. Katarina Velentinčič Istenič has been appointed Executive Director of KD Group d.d. with effect from 1 January 2026 for a four-year term of office.
